What We Believe

We believe that everyone is a child of God.  Everyone is welcome in our church home.  When we say everyone, we mean everyone, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, marital status, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or religion. It does not matter if you are a believer, a non-believer, or someone who is questioning his or her faith.  If you feel like you have never belonged in a church home, we invite you to walk through our doors.  You will feel like you belong here.  When we say open hearts, open minds, open doors - that's what we mean.

Methodist Theology

The United Methodist Church is an eleven million strong global church that opens hearts, opens doors, and opens minds through active engagement with our world.

John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
